i was wondering if somebody can tell me how to get to kamadan i know there's a quest you're supposed to do to get there but i can't seem to find it.

The quest is Sunspears in Kryta. It's in Lion's Arch from Lionguard Figo.

...but you do need Nightfall to be enabled on your account or you can't get there!
